The September 2026 edition of VMSA Shed Talk is now available, with plenty of news and information from Men’s Sheds across Victoria.

This month’s edition includes some particularly important news for Victorian shedders, including the release of the first independent evaluation of the Men’s Shed movement, with a new Curtin University report highlighting the important role Men’s Sheds play as community infrastructure.

Help Us Build a Future

VMSA is also encouraging members and supporters of Men’s Sheds to get behind its Help Us Build a Future campaign.

VMSA advises that State Government funding for the Men’s Shed network has remained at the same level since 2012, despite the network having grown substantially during that time. The campaign is calling for annual funding to increase from $1 million to $3 million, with future indexation.

Members of the Riddells Creek Men’s Shed are encouraged to read the latest edition and keep up to date with what is happening across the Victorian Men’s Shed community.
